Ezra Spark 91 was a great episode! Lots of meaty issues addressed. When did Lessig move to Harvard (from Stanford)? Good to hear him, regardless.

Nobody questioned something that to me was obvious regarding Re-captcha's -- the "unknown" word in re-captcha can't be verified (it's unknown!). How's that more secure than captcha? Can't someone type anything for the unrecognized word?

A while back Nora asked how social networking sites fit into your work? It got me thinking about our webpage. Its just a simple one, and I use FrontPage 2003 to update it. Then I realized that facebook would do two things most important to me - a simple way to post pictures of machinery for sale and a way to post pi...ctures, video, and comments on stuff going on in the field. So I created business pages for those two activities, and linked them to our website. For people not on facebook they can still see what we are up to, for those on facebook, they can follow us closer. Makes my job a lot easier. The website is www.growerssupply.ca and you can find links to the agronomy facebook page and machinery gallery on the front page. What do you think?Read More
