In a by men dominated scene a female DJ duo will enlighten the experience.
Naald//Caroline Arends// DJ Lilith first recognition with turntables was in 2004 when she was found sneaky practicing with the equipment of a friend. By every ones amazing she was soon technically up to date. A few months later..., at a private after party, a DJ was born. Draad// Shirley Asafo- Adjei// Asafo A DJ bought her own decks in 2004. Surrounded by friends who all shared the love for electronic music she was driven to make her dreams come true and dedicate herself to the musical experience called house.
One year later in 2005 the two girls met each other at an after party, and turned out to be a team. By practicing a lot together they decided to be a duo. When Caroline was searching for a record and hit the needle with the thread of the earphone their names were born in a hilarious way.
Together they are Naald & Draad, there style defined as funky, groovy and housey! Two tough and swinging females behind the decks.
