Hannah Waterman I used our garlic scapes in an easy sautee with the beautiful rainbow chard. Cut out the stems of the kale and chop both them and the scapes into small pieces (they get so mild when cooked - I used most of the scapes we received at once)... sautee the stems and scapes in olive oil and a little salt, after a bit add the... chard leaves (chopped) and sautee until they are cooked through. Finally, squeeze some lemon juice on top. So simple and tasty!

        • Annabel Hine Swiss chard is my NEW FAVORITE FOOD EVER. I did it similarly, with the salt and olive oil, and some of the scapes (although next time I will use more because I didn't realize they get milder as they're cooked.) I also added garlic and soy sauce...and ate most of it myself. Mmmmm....

Melissa Feldberg Whipps Just saw an e-mail about the CSA not having enough folks, is there a chance that those of us that have paid won't get veggies this summer??

                • CSA CNY No worries! We're simply trying to make it a worthwhile effort for the farm. More members = more than breaking even or even falling short. The concern is about our ability to produce wonderful organic local food in future years. This year is all set to go.

Patrice Haywood As I posted on the discussion board (but not sure how many see it) - anyone in the Cicero area interested in splitting a full season share? I believe the closest POD is in Liverpool.
