Melissa Can't express how truly Blessed and Thankful I am for Cadence!! I am truly thankful for the Cassidy Family who were the Missionaries at the time in Yokosuka, Japan while I was there with my Husband. I grew so much spiritually while I was there! I only wish that there was something like this out here in Jacksonville, FL! God Bless!

Lysander Huynh

Lysander Huynh God Bless, Cadence International! If it weren't for the Ross family, the Anderson family, and the Cassidy family, I would have never know Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I am still in faith, and I pray that I achieve what the Lord has planned for me.

Gary Melton I would like to hear from anyone who knows anything about Chuck and Jane Hall, Jeannie and Janet. They were the OCSC leaders in Christobal Panama Canal Zone while I was there in 1966,67,& 68. I attended the Home all I could in 1967 & 68. It meant so much to me, and kept me close to God during my tour of service there. Thank You!!

I don't know the Halls, but I think they started the Villa in Rota-I just missed their tenure as I arrived late in 77 and was in Rota from 77-80, most of 82 as a dependent, and 90-96. Starting with Gordon and June Gustafson, my life was impacted by the Kramers, Lettings, and Dave Olander who were the follow on full timers that directed, and too many temporary directors to mention.

Thanks for this report. I also knew Gordon and June Gustafson. They directed the Servicemen's Home on the Panama City side of the Isthmus. June was learning to play the acoustic guitar. We had bible studies, field trips, Time with Our Lord, and a lots of fun and fellowship together with the Servicemen and their familys. This brings back remembrances to me. Thank you very much. God bless, Gary and Shirley Melton

Cadence International KidsLink Downrange Pledges have kicked off. It is amazing to see so many MOPS moms and other volunteers serve military families with their time and creativity. We love seeing the body of Christ work together to love others.

kidslinkonline.org
KidsLink Downrange is a project where MOPS groups all around the USA help military kids connect to their deployed parents by creating Card Kits the kids can use to keep in touch with their mom or dad. Read more about how the project works.

Cadence International Military families are under assault. Continual deployments have contributed to the record number of suicides, divorces and post-traumatic stress disorders. According to research, about 20 percent of marriages fail within two years when a spouse has been sent off to war.

Having utilized the Lighthouse in Yokosuka, Japan for 6 years, I am glad to give back through CFC every month. Without the Lighthouse, I would not be the man I am today.

Whether it is CFC or direct support for one missionary I want everybody who is not doing it yet to see if they can afford at least $5.00/month (more is surely welcome) . This is not even the amount people spend at fast food places or for food, desert and / or coffee.
