California State Button Society I love seashells and particularly Abalone shells. It's really hard to find nice Buttons made from Abalone shell but here are three of my favorites!

California State Button Society There I was walking along the beach contemplating world domination when suddenly I spotted it! The Grey 2-Holed Western Tide Pool Button! I had not seen one of these since the great Button famine of 1996! It's hard to say with certainty what material it's made of though, since every time I tried to click my teeth on it...I got water up my nose!

California State Button Society I was sunning on the Lido deck with Biff drinking an appletini when suddenly and without warning........

California State Button Society The rare and elusive 4-hole sand Button with seaweed embellishment! ツ Enjoy!

California State Button Society This Button is the very first Button I ever collected. It was given to me by an elderly lady who was a Button Collector herself. I was a teenager at the time and I was thrilled to have such a treasure and I'm still collecting over 30 years later!! See what one Button can do! This Picture Button is called the "Charter... Oak" in the Big Book of Buttons page 597.

California State Button Society Here's a bit of Bling and I have no information other than it's glass set in brass! The pastes are glued in and the glass has a interesting luminescent quality.
