Since 1984, the Demographic and Health Surveys project (MEASURE DHS) has provided technical assistance to over 240 surveys in 84 countries. DHS surveys collect data on fertility, family planning, maternal & child health, nutrition, malaria, and HIV.

Demographic and Health Surveys- MEASURE DHS DHS staff are currently assisting with fieldwork training in Same Tanzania. Same is a 5.5 hours drive from Dar es Salaam. There are approximately 104 participants at the training with 5 permanent trainers and others short term trainers. The training was opened by a representative from the Ministry of Health, Dr. Mngongo.
