Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre Every year we get together to celebrate International Volunteer Day by having a big barbecue and this year's no different. This event is open to all those involved in the volunteering sector in the community. Just make sure you let us know by Friday 27 November if you're planning on coming so that we can make sure ther...e's enough food to feed everyone! See you there...

Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre wishes everyone a Happy National Volunteer week!
Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre Almost 700 people visited the 46 community organisations that participated in the fourth Boroondara Volunteer Expo on 11 March.
Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is busy preparing for the 2009 Volunteer Expo - Wednesday 11 March, 2 - 7pm at the Hawthorn Town Hall
Like all of you, we're sure, we have continued to watch with horror how the Victorian bushfires have devastated land, buildings, communities and lives...
Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre
Unfortunately for full-time workers, most of our events do run on weekdays and during business hours. We have tried to address this problem by holding our annual volunteer barbecue until 7pm and also our volunteer expo until 7pm. While we have looked at training in the evenings, there has not been enough demand to make... it viable. We happy to review this though if there is demand for training outside business hours.
