Curious George Books & Toys First Lieutenant David Falvey will present his book Letters to a Soldier, the correspondence between him and a fourth grade class. He will show pictures and equipment from life in the army, and have a discussion with kids about his time in Iraq.

The name comes from a type of molecule. A molecule (C60) was discovered some time ago that has a shape similar to a geodesic dome--so they named it "buckminsterfullerene". Later a whole family of such molecules was discovered, so they were called "fullerenes". The ones that take a spherical shape are called "bucky balls".
