Camp Frontier: Mexico - Pico2Playa
An all-inclusive, one-week adventure racing training camp in the coastal mountains of Mexico’s Sierra Madres each March. A simulated expedition from 4300m on Pico Orizaba to the beach on the Gulf of Mexico, including mountain biking, trekking, paddling, ropes, ruins, canyoneering, safety/first aid, altitude, culture and fun!

Our 2009 Mexico camps are now listed as events (below on the right), and full details are at www.camp-frontier.com.
Big news for 2009: we will have Bob Miller, Lawrence Foster, and Trish Westman all with us for both weeks - as well as Jim Coffey and Geoff Langford.
The content of the weeks has changed a bit. The Jalcomulco week will be very focused on skills training and development as in the past, but the Pico2Playa week will be more about physical training, exploration, teamwork, and prepping for the coming season, and less about formal skills training.
Registration opens Friday, August 15.
