Congress recognizes no limits on its power. It doesn't care about the Constitution, it doesn't care about your inalienable rights. If this health care bill becomes law, America, life as you have known it, freedom as you have exercised it and privacy as you have enjoyed it will cease to be.

More proof we don't need extra-constitutional military commissions or "enemy combatant" designations.

What we are ment to be and what we are in reality are two very different things.

Anger drove thousands of citizens, including Campaign for Liberty supporters, to show up on Capitol Hill November 5. Their fury stems from a 1,990 page "comprehensive health reform" bill that strips away patient rights and plunges taxpayers into another federal financial fiasco.

I am just wondering. How many more Financial Fiasco's our currency can handle when adding to the already enormous financial disaster that is looming with social security?

As part of our Operation Health Freedom series, Judge Andrew Napolitano looks at health care and a justified use of Congress' interstate commerce regulation power. Americans should be free to buy insurance across state lines.

Great article! I've been talking to others about this very same issue for a while now, especially those that advocate or gay marriage. What ask The State for permission?

Agree completely. State borders should not stop me from buying insurance of any kind. I can do it for car and house insurance, why not health insurance. Here again, government has been our problem...

Campaign for Liberty believes America's health care system is in desperate need of reform, but current proposals only cement the status quo by mandating further government interference and requiring Americans to either carry a government-approved plan or surrender more of their hard-earned money to ...

aren't you a lovely piece of work...? this country is in the shape it is for many reasons, not the least of which is that it's full of knee-jerk patriots who think we do nothing wrong here; our general ignorance in basic skills is one of the many things helping to drag us down over the long run. there are borderline third-world countries with ... Read Morebetter scores. 75% of Oklahoma high school seniors can't name the first president, an extraordinary man who must be spinning in his grave. we should be striving to be the world's benchmark in every possible way, instead of just beating our collective breast, marveling at our imagined greatness. since you brought up voting, let's talk about that see-saw. one party makes a mess, so it gets voted out. the other party now makes a mess, so it's back to the first one, then back again, then back again; back and forth every 4-8 years, ad infinitum. nothing changes except to get worse. but by god, that's how we do things here in America; yee-hah. on the contrary lady, i did not vote for either mistake, but i'd bet a lot of those knee-jerk patriots did. it's no wonder the founding fathers questioned what they had started only a few years later. this country needs an enema.

Even before the election.you were far more likely to see Ron Paul on Fox,than any other TV station.
But to answer your question.Yes I do think its commendable that they are now giving him more time.
Would it be more commendable in your eyes, for them to keep ignoring him??

Medical care is not a free good found in nature. Of course, no one really thinks it is. But that doesn’t keep most people from wanting to pretend otherwise, and the current institutional setting makes that possible.

Poorly written article, the author does not substantiate any specifics from the bill itself to explain the actual benefits, how they're paid for, etc. It is posturing. It is a morality call about self-responsibility. That's fine, but it's not well written - I think he's just preaching to his friends.

Make no mistake about this: the US Constitution did NOT create a national government, but rather created a federal government whereby the states were coequal with the federal government in the exercise and defense of the powers granted to them by the people of each State.
