I sprayed only once this season - sprayer clogged or something, and I never did anything about it...

My roses are surviving, but some are covered in fungi. I also now have mushrooms growing in various places. Hmmm.

Well said. I find that rugosas/rugosa hybrids have less/no trouble with cane borer or can girdler when old wood is routinely eliminated. Encouraging young, vigorous growth is the way to go. Thanks.
