Cultural Cuisine Night
Featuring Bulgaria and Russia
Friday, April 24th

Mack Dining Hall/Kennedy Commons
This cultural cuisine night will feature the Bulgarian Student Organization and Russian Student Organization! These two groups will have the opportunity to exhibit their cultures through the creation an...d preparation of an ethnic menu.
The cost of the dinner for non-meal plan paying customers is $11.50. Meal plans, cash, credit cards and BuckIDs will all be accepted.
The menu includes a diverse selection of traditional favorites consisting of the following:
Bulgarian
Shopska Salad (tomato, cucumber and pepper salad)
Tarator Soup (Yogurt and cucumber soup)
Kebapcheta (beef and veal meatballs)
Kavarma (Pork and liver ragout)
Apple Banista (apple filled phyllo pastry)
Baklava (walnut filled phyllo pastry)
Russian
Russian Potato Salad ( standard potato salad with chicken, peas, carrots and sour cream)
Meat Filled Dumplings (beef raviolis)
Buckwheat kasha (a grain prepared like polenta)
Sharlotka (layered dessert with black bread, apples, orange rind)
