I am a mother of 4 childeren. my second oldest Ben has downs, he is 7 and a half. He has some behaviour issues amongest other things. I live in a small town and I am having issues when it comes to transporting him on the school bus.
He hasn't been allowed on the school bus now for a year and a half without his cousi...n on the bus. He has been coded as having behaviour issues and yet they are still not wanting him to go on the bus. They have not been able to try him on to see how he will do. I have been trying everything inn my power to get him on but everyone has been telling me NO. This is very frustrating for me and for Ben. So in result of all of this he MIGHT go to school for 2 or 3 days a week and that is not near enough.
So if anyone out there might have any ideas on which way i should go i am open for any ideas. thanks Bobbi

Danny McKinney Me and My Dad went to the Canadian Down Syndrome Society one time in Calgary, Alberta to celebrate my 26th Birthday in July 2005. I live in the state of Oregon and I became a member of this Down Syndrome group from the International Mosaic Down Syndrome Association and you all saw me in "HERITAGE MAKERS" (Mosaic Down S...yndrome Unique Kids) book when it came out. Lorraine Hougan published the story about it.
