This year, women of all ages and fitness levels across the UK took part in Race for Life 2008 and raised money to help Cancer Research UK beat cancer.

Race for Life is the UK’s largest women-only fundraising event.

Thanks to women like you, Race for Life 2008 has been an amazing year and we can’t tell you how much appreciate all the hard work you’ve put into preparing for your event and raising money for Cancer Research UK’s life saving work.

After reading all those moving back signs on the day and those from our fan photos, I'm sure you'll agree that we still have work to do to beat cancer.

So before you hang up your trainers, please remember to return your sponsorship money.

Every pound you raise in sponsorship goes towards funding research that will improve our understanding of cancer and help develop better ways to prevent, diagnose and treat the disease.
