Canon Powershot S90 Street Photography Challenge Street Photography Quick Tips:
---------------------------------------------
BE DECISIVE. BE SELECTIVE.

The more you shoot the more pictures you'll take, but they won't all be worth keeping. Be selective and only keep those that make the grade. In this way you'll develop a sharper editorial eye, and your standards will ri...se in the process.

Dress and behave discretely. Don't affect what lies before you. Some of the best street photography are captured when the photographer and camera are unobserved by the scene and its subjects.

Canon Powershot S90 Street Photography Challenge Another S90 RAW picture processed with an image editor. This time, the photographer wanted a hyper-real colour saturated mood to his PowerShot S90 picture. The final image was achieved with selective contrast and brightness adjustments, highlights and shadow corrections, and finally colour hue and saturation tweaks.

Canon Powershot S90 Street Photography Challenge When should I shoot RAW? That's a common question a lot of people ask.

Here's a simple answer. Shoot RAW when you want the capture an image at its best quality for further manipulation and control with an image editor on your computer. Shooting in RAW format captures a picture as the camera sensor sees it, with no JPEG ...compression performed by the camera. This picture was captured in RAW with the Canon PowerShot S90 digital camera, and post processed on the photographer's computer with an editor. With the RAW file, the photographer enhanced highlight details in the clouds, added selective brightness contrast to different parts of the picture along with a soft vignette effect. The final picture was then converted to Black and White for mood, and saved as a JPEG copy for sharing.

"No pre-processing of image" means not even the Hue/Tone/Contrast can be adjusted? ...or converted to B&W?
We can only send the original photos as they are taken into camera?
