My dad was born in this beautiful breathtaking part of the country. I returned to CB in 2004 for a visit, after being away for 35 yrs. I was glad I returned.....I now go back every 2 yrs & look forward to that long road each time I go.... I live in St. Catharines, Ontario & was born in Welland, but strongly feel my roo...ts are in Cape Breton. I have loads of family in the Alder Point/Florence/North Sydney area & always look forward to spending time with them on every one of my trips down east. Cape Breton is absolutely beautiful....for anyone who hasnt made the trip - they havent seen beauty until they see the Cape Breton Highlands. ♥

Kenneth B Leblanc left my heart in cape breton when i left @ 15 to find work in thorold ont(1970).It,s been a long journey. Ive made several trips back home in the past 40 yrs.I aiways enjoy the 18 hr drive every couple years.

Darlene Ottawa has been my adopted home since 1991 but my heart will always be in Cape Breton with the people i love.

Blaine I'm living in Antigonish now . Past 21 years . I still get homesick.

John Hennick Cape is where i'm from, a little town called Whitney Pier. I will be back to see you some day. As soon as i win the lotto. As for now toronto is home.

Vivienne Chin I love Cape Breton Live and I love Cape Breton and of course I love fiddle. Being originally half Chinese, a quarter English and a quarter Japanese and from Singapore, I have NO idea where I got the celtic bug from it's in my blood. When I hear it, I have to move something! I've been to Celtic Colours twice and cannot wait to get back next year. Thank you!!
