Air Plant City Did you know that the Silvery sage green plants will withstand the sun better than ones that are very green? It's true so keep that in mind if you live in the south and want to keep your plants outside. The xerographica will withstand direct sun very well.

Air Plant City Air plants make wonderful gifts. A sunny window is ideal for a collection. Just make sure that your window does not offer extreme winter drafts.
Air Plant City Flabellata's are large and gorgeous young plants. I have seen a few with spikes peaking out. These have spikes with multiple branches and very lovely flowers. Again the spikes are very long lasting and add to the beauty of the plant. Very reasonably priced for an unusual lovely plant.
Air Plant City Large and xtra large Juncea in bud now. Both are reasonably priced and well worth it. The spike lasts a long time and it's a great plant for displays.

Air Plant City My air plants will be happy when the evening temps start going into the 60's. I will as well. If you can give your air plants a night time temp at least 10-15 degrees cooler than days, they will thrive.

Air Plant City On my directions for soaking, I say to soak upside down. I do this because when you remove the plant from the water, you have a head start on getting all of the water out of the plant and from between the leaves. One of the main causes of death in an air plant is that water sits to long in it and it rots.
