CaptionCompetition.co.uk Caption deleting is now much faster - click delete and you should find the caption vanishes without having to reload the page
CaptionCompetition.co.uk Craig, the tactical voting algorithm removes blocks of voting that appear suspicious. Designed to prevent people from logging in as another user (or logged out altogether) and voting for their own captions, and down on the others. The algorithm isn't perfect unfortunately - quite a tough thing to automate.

Your vote score is calculated on the number of "thumbs up" votes minus the number of "thumbs down" votes. To keep your score growing, it's possible to delete captions that are getting negative votes. Click your name in the top right-hand corner of the site to get to your user page...
Sometimes voting between captioneers gets a little nasty. It's a competition, and people are in it to win it. However, thanks to a new feature of the site, tactical voting won't spoil your fun. if you're targeted by another captioneer with some dodgy negative votes, fear not...
