Hey there, Hazel! Carbonfund.org was founded by Eric Carlson and his wife, Lesley in September of 2003. We've expanded significantly over those past five years, from working out of Eric's home in Silver Spring to an office with nearly 20 employees. Like most other nonprofits, while Eric is our Executive Director we have a governing board to assist us with the major decision making aspects of the organization. Al Gore isn't associated with us but his We Can Solve It campaign is such an important step in fighting this climate crisis.
