Epicure SB is a new joint venture by the SB Conference & Visitors Bureau, and the SB Downtown Organization, to feature local restaurants, chefs, and wineries alike! So Carina Cellars paired up with chef John Fernandez, owner of the private catering/cooking class company A Tavola!, for an evening of learning how to cook... classic Italian dishes. John worked in kitchens throughout Italy, and taught us about each region and how to create both the pasta and the sauce. Wine is a key ingredient to creating a delicious dish (whether it goes into the sauce or into your mouth - that’s up to you!), so Carolyn Turner from Carina Cellars talked about each wine pairing.
Special Thanks to Rosminah Brown for taking so many wonderful pictures! And to Hayward Design Center for so generously opening their kitchen to us!Read More
