Hi Carl! It was great seeing you again this last weekend. The wedding was wonderful and it is always fun to catch up. When we got home monday, though, we were seriously bummed. On Friday, October 9th and Saturday, October 10th, I'll be playing in Urbana and Champaign, respectively.
On the 9th I'll be playing an all ages show at the Red Herring around 10PM with A Light Sleeper (http://www.myspace.com/alightsleeper) from Chicago and Syna So Pro (http://www.myspace.com/synasoloproject) from St.... Louis.
On the 10th at 9PM, I'll be playing a 21+ show at Bentley's Pub with local Jason Bentley (http://www.jasonbentleyonline.com) and Mayhew the Traitor (http://www.myspace.com/mayhewthetraitor). Cover is a WHOPPING 3 bones.

If you were invited to this, you probably already know at least a couple of the local musicians below; in my opinion, they alone are worth your time and your precious 5 bones (which amounts to 83 cents a band/musician). On top of the locals, however, we have a fantastic songwriter/storyteller named... John Krane visiting from St. Louis (think Townes Van Zandt / Randy Newman / Jeff Tweedy / Tom Waits) and a man named Everett Thomas, who has such an angelic voice that I suspect he's either a shaven William Fitzsimmons or the singer from Sleeping at Last. Bring your friends and family - it should be a great show!
