no, the house added the amendment but when they have negotiate with the senate it will most likely be removed. That's if the senate even passes their own bill. Then they negotiate and both house vote on passage of negotiated bill, which will never pass. Like i have always said, wether Repub or Dem absolute power corrupts absolutly. They all lie and have sold us out for their own greed and power. Peace!!!!!

The point being that it is not necessary to "fix" a non-existant portion of a bill. Obama said very clearly that the abortion funding was not in the bill.

i agree, i was just stating that the amendment passed and was adopted. As far as Obama incorrect statement, yes Obama knowingly lied to us at worse or at least misled at best. Its the old practice Dem's use; use a lesser evil(lying)l to promote something that they feel will make society better(universal health-care). All do to the fact Obama and Dem's feel they know whats best for everyone. Brett using the common tactic, when one cannot disprove something you insult it. Nice!!!!!!

Here's a nice omlette with 10,000 flies cooked into it, but we'll take one fly out so you'll all feel better about eating the thing, that's the strategy. A few concessions and compromises, but most of the fly count remains. I'd rather dump the entire omlette.

Let's hope for the sake of the United States and "WE THE PEOPLE" that the Senate has more sense than the Democrats in the House. I hope for "We The People" that the Senate will make the right decision on behalf of this great Nation.
