Unions are not needed. There are a plethora of laws to protect individuals from abuse in the workplace on top of the fact that free association in a free society must be a two-way street or it is not free.

According to statistics I have heard, the 16-24 unemployment rate is pushing well over 50%. That is the true ridiculousness that goes along with the youth supporting his failed economic policies.
