Come find out who has huge eyes, excellent hearing, can fly almost silently, and is seen in the moonlight. Meet a few of these night time hunters during the day and learn about what Halloween is really all about!

Susan Suchko

Susan Suchko My son & I visited Carolina Raptor Center during Spring Break 2007. It was a Very Cold Day and overcast, but we were intrigued/fascinated by all the birds. We stayed for hours. It was amazing. Thank you for all of your dedication and hard work!

Just got back from our daily bike ride that takes us through one of our BLM campgrounds, Rock Creek, where there is a nesting pair of bald eagles, with their huge nest near the top of 100 ft. pine tree. Both adults were in residence this morning! Beautiful!

Mark Thornberry "Hunter!" Always a challenge on so many different levels to get a picture of a bird in flight. That being said, I like the colors and sense of speed in this one. Definitely has an "Impressionist" style to it.
