On Sunday, September 28th 2008, the Liberal Party of Canada will be celebrating its women candidates from coast to coast to coast.
Over one year ago, Stéphane Dion promised Canadians that in the next election, his team of candidates would be comprised of at least one... third women. Today, we can be proud that our Leader kept his promise, and in fact, surpassed it. We can be proud of the 113 extraordinary women who are dedicating themselves to our Party and our country.
You are invited to join Mme Janine Krieber, local women candidates and fellow Liberals in the GTA to celebrate this wonderful achievement.
Come out and help us celebrate this historic milestone, celebrate these women candidates and show your support for them and our Liberal Team. All candidates and volunteers are welcome – both men and women! Don’t forget to bring campaign signs.
