Carving by Charles Hamer Right now, these hand carved spatulas are my new favorite kitchen utensil! I've been putting the ones he made for me through some rough use, cooking enchilada sauce in an iron skillet (several hours of simmering and stirring) and then washing in the dishwasher. Every once in a while I have treated it with olive oil again to "feed" the wood.

Carving by Charles Hamer Three primitive hand-carved scoops. Click on any of these pictures to make them larger (large enough to read the writing on the picture).

Carving by Charles Hamer posting this picture again because it just will not show up on my computer. May be an issue just with my computer.....

Carving by Charles Hamer Unc's "tadpole spoons" are probably my favorite! I love the whimsy of these spoons! He can make large serving spoons in this "tadpole" shape.

Carving by Charles Hamer Are all the pictures showing up for you? On my computer, there are two pictures that consistently will not show up...the detail of the bread board and the cherry mixing spoons.

Carving by Charles Hamer These beautiful cherry mixing spoons were a special order for a customer. All of his primitive kitchen utensils were sealed with olive oil for a natural non-toxic finish.

Carving by Charles Hamer His primitive mixing spoons are very popular. He makes these from cedar as well as cherry. Other woods available upon request. All of the wood he is using right now is wood that was salvaged from the damage of Hurricane Katrina here on the farm.
