Catamount Film and Arts The National Marionette Theatre presents "Hansel and Gretel" to area audiences at this year's performance. Using the beautiful music from Humperdinck's opera, the National Marionette Theatre gives "Hansel and Gretel" by the Brothers Grimm an absolutely beautiful "story book" look that appeals to audiences of all ages.
T...he National Marionette Theatre is one of the oldest continually running marionette theaters in the United States. This award-winning troupe has been entertaining audiences around the world with their extraordinary productions for over forty years. Noted for its amazing manipulation technique and imaginative fully staged productions, the National Marionette Theatre was the first American company to receive the prestigious UNIMA award for excellence in puppetry. This year's production is certain to be one of the best attended events of Catamount's season.

Marko the Magicial will highlight a full schedule of family art acivities: 9:00am - Hands On! educational activity with Sharon Kenney-Biddle, 10:00am - Family Movie Matinee, 11:00...am - Marko the Magician, 12:00 noon - Family Luncheon. This family event is the first in a series of monthly activities sponsored by the Community National Bank and presented by Catamount Arts.
