with Radio Adelaide, 3PBS FM presenting her Victorian shows, 3RRR FM adding it to their soundscape list, and 2SER FM and Triple J airplay, Catherine Traicos is getting strong support in all the right places for her 2nd album 'The Amazing.' Catherine will be performing her 'confession-box' songs with a run of shows throughout October.

follow-up to her '08 release 'Gone', 'The Amazing' once again reveals
Catherine's versatile songwriting abilities and instinctive and
imaginative arrangements.
Ca...therine teamed up with
producer/engineer Nick Huggins at the legendary Pocket Full of Stones
Studio to create a beautiful album of understated brilliance.
Guest
players on 'The Amazing' include Henry F Skerritt and Emma Frichot from
The Holy Sea, Gareth Skinner from Bzark!, Phil Natt from Ammonia and
Bree Hartley from Manny Fox Hangman's Club.
In support will be
Brisbane-bred, Sydney-based musician, singer and songwriter Glenn
Thompson. Glenn is perhaps best known for his contributions to two of
Australia's most iconic groups, Custard and The Go-Betweens. In his new
guise as Beachfield, and with his debut solo album, 'Brighton
Bothways', Glenn mines a bright path of gorgeous melodic pop, with
smart observational lyrics and a strong sense of Australian culture.
