The 28th Annual Scholarship Benefit concert will feature music by the Northern Iowa Wind Symphony with faculty artists Amanda McCandless, clarinet, and Chris Buckholz, trombone, Jazz Band One, the UNI Opera Ensemble, the Northern Iowa Symphony Orchestra, combined choral ensembles and more! ...Proceeds from the concert benefit scholarships for current School of Music students. UNI School of Music Visiting artist Matt Bengtson will join faculty artist Sean Botkin for a duo piano recital. Bengtson, a celebrated performer and educator, studied piano performance as a Harvard undergraduate and earned hi M.M. and D.M.A. degrees in piano performance at the Peabody Conservatory of Music. This event is free and open to the public.
