KCRG-TV9 First Alert Weather The cold snap continues tonight with temperatures dropping down to the low to mid 20s. If you are going to be out shopping in the wee hours of the morning, bundle up! Clouds will move out and Friday should be a mostly sunny day with highs in the 40s. I hope the rest of your holiday is a safe and enjoyable one!

KCRG-TV9 First Alert Weather Happy Thanksgiving! Our weather today will probably put you in a bit of holiday spirit. We'll be cold with highs in the upper 30s with a breezy northwest wind. Fog is possible tonight with lows in the middle 20s, but a south wind sends us back up to the middle 40s tomorrow. Aside from a slight shower chance late Sunday..., the travel weekend looks fine with highs still in the 40s.

As far as precipitation type rain remains in the forecast through at least the middle of the day on Wednesday. Late Wednesday looks to be the time frame when some snow may fall across the area. Accumulations will be possible, m...ainly on grassy areas. Colder weather also filters south keeping highs in the 30s for T-Day.
KCRG-TV9 First Alert Weather Forecast has not changed much from yesterday. Rain is likely today, tonight and the first half of Wednesday. Main concern continues to be on the light snow chance coming our way for Wednesday night and Thursday. Best chances in the NE counties, but some flakes should fly around in most communities overnight into Thu...rsday morning. Acc. looks minimal, and mainly in grassy areas, but we'll watch it.

Southerly winds, ahead of this storm, bring some moisture into the region. At this point rain is in the forecast for Tuesday into Wednesday. Late on Wednesday into Thursday some cooler temperatures could turn t...he precipitation to snow. Any snow can cause some slippery conditions so keep up with the forecast.

I've seen this bands move around before though, and it's a bit early to even take a stab at accumulations yet. Here's the good news though, the ground is warm, roads are warm, so that should knock accumulation...s down to the minor category. - Kaj

At this point, looks like Tuesday and the first half of Wednesday will all be scattered rain showers. By Wed PM, night, and Thursday, precip should change to all snow. Combined with winds of near 25 MPH, wind chills should ...be down in the 20s. Minor accumulations near 1" are possible.
