KCRG-TV9 First Alert Weather

KCRG-TV9 First Alert Weather

KCRG-TV9 First Alert Weather Our weather stays quiet all the way through Friday. Some clouds will be around early this morning along with some early showers by the Quad Cities. Sunny sky is anticipated by late morning and beyond. Highs today through Friday should not be too different, about 59-61 each day. Tonight will be our coolest night with 32 degrees. The weekend system placement is still in question, but we'll be watching.

KCRG-TV9 First Alert Weather

KCRG-TV9 First Alert Weather Our mainly quiet weather pattern will continue for much of the upcoming week. However, a couple of showers are possible tonight, mainly in the south. Any rain that does manage to fall should be very light. Blue sky then returns tomorrow with highs once again on the mild side in the upper 50s. In fact, our next notable weathermaker won't affect us until we approach the weekend.

KCRG-TV9 First Alert Weather

KCRG-TV9 First Alert Weather A partly sunny day will be around today as a slow moving cold front keeps going south. It's pretty moisture starved at the moment and getting the front to squeeze out a shower will be pretty tough to do. Going with a dry forecast for today, with just a slight chance of rain tonight south of I-80. Most areas stay dry. The rest of the week looks good with upper 50s and sunshine. 6 of last 8 days above normal.

KCRG-TV9 First Alert Weather

KCRG-TV9 First Alert Weather Our streak of mild weather will be coming to end overnight as a cold front pushes through. There is not ample moisture out ahead of the front, so there are only slight chances of rain. The front will be south Monday night and at that time, some moisture may ride up and over the front giving us a chance of rain, mainly in southeast Iowa. The sun returns Tuesday. KCRG-TV9 First Alert Weather

KCRG-TV9 First Alert Weather We have yet another mild day ahead of us. Sunday will live up to its sunny name across the area as high again climb into the upper 60s, with a few lower 70s likely. Clouds will thicken tonight, though, and our shower chances increase later tonight into your Monday. Cooler temperatures will settle into our neck of the woods next week, but at least we'll have mainly dry weather.

KCRG-TV9 First Alert Weather The rest of the weekend should be great with more mild weather ahead for Sunday. It looks like highs will reach the upper 60s and low 70s with southerly winds and mostly sunny skies. A rain chance will be with us on Monday.

KCRG-TV9 First Alert Weather

KCRG-TV9 First Alert Weather Talk about a gem - today's weather will be absolutely phenomenal. Area thermometers will climb into the upper 60s and lower 70s, which hasn't happened in a few weeks. Sunday looks great, too, with increasing clouds and highs in the middle 60s. This will definitely be a weekend to enjoy outdoors. By Monday, a weak front will bring us a slight chance of a few showers. Have a fantastic Saturday!

KCRG-TV9 First Alert Weather

KCRG-TV9 First Alert Weather Playing the cloud game today. Clouds have developed out in front of this strong warm front forecast to move through. This is a typical scenario, however, trying to predict the timing of the cloud moving out is tougher. Going with 60 (north) to 66 (south) for highs today. Still, a great day. However, the south winds of 20-25 MPH are in our favor to chew the clouds up and get us in the 60s.

KCRG-TV9 First Alert Weather

KCRG-TV9 First Alert Weather After a very frosty start to Thursday, our weather has taken on a warmer turn. We are now on track for some very nice November weather through the upcoming weekend. Highs are expected to climb into the 60s with lows staying in the 40s. There is a possibility of 70s on Saturday, so if you need to be outdoors the weather will be perfect. Have a super night!

KCRG-TV9 First Alert Weather The weather pattern will remain above normal and fairly quiet over the next 4 days. This morning, we start cold in the 20s, but should rebound nicely under full sunshine and hit highs in the mid-50s. Friday is better yet, but awful windy, with highs in the low 60s and some sun along with south winds at 20-30. Plans for the weekend? Enjoy them! 60s both days!
