Celiac Teen Cannoli are a lot of fun! Have you ever tried them?

Think of the last thing you ate that was deep fried. Got it? Although my wontons are a recent memory, the biggest deep fried memory I have are mini donuts. They don't even call them doughnuts, just donuts because they're mini. ...

Celiac Teen Scones bring back such great memories, and cinnamon always wins me over, so this is the best of both worlds!

Warm, fresh scones. When I think of scones, I remember being 5 going to IKEA. Don't you just love that store? There is always something fabulous to be found! Especially in the kids section. ...

Celiac Teen So many grains, so little time =D.

My dad loved these muffins. Really loved them. And of course, he had that tone. You know the one - where he truly loves it, isn't just enjoying it or being supportive. My brother on the other hand, came home after having a big dinner out and had one. ...

Food as a gift. Such a fun idea. And even more, such a great way to spread the joy! When I think of giving food, my mind goes directly to bark. Chocolate, peppermint, anything. Made by my best friends mom. ...

Celiac Teen My first Sushi attempt! A great challenge =D.

celiacteen.blogspot.com
The first time I had Sushi, was in grade 7. At school. It wasn't very good, or at least I convinced myself that was the case. Sort of slimey, and very very cold. Not my cup of tea. Had't tried it since.

I really admire you, for the way your handling living gluten free. You've taken it as a challange rather then a limitation and thats wonderful. Great sushi, its worth getting a quick style you can do for lunch boxes, picnics espe as you have to eat gluten free, its a great bring along. Congratulations on your challange.

Say hello to my first grain free experiment. Before your mind wonders, this is not a "eww" or "yuck" experiment. No. This is a "I think I'm dreaming, somebody pinch me, ouch! That hurt, What'd you do that for?" experiment. ...

Nope, I don't mean real worms in real dirt. I'm talking about the kid friendly favourite. Chocolate pudding, crushed oreos and gummy worms. I even had this instead of a birthday cake one year. Its so much fun. And now, its gluten free! Not to mention perfect & easy for Halloween - hint, hint.

I've always loved poached eggs. On those nights when we did't have a sit-down family dinner, and mom wanted comfort food, this was what we ate. This is what I eat. We have a little electric poacher that my mom got at a garage sale 30 years ago, that works like a charm. ...

Being fall, with leaves changing, snow threatening and people dressing warmer, nothing stays the same. Except maybe for my love of pumpkin. And food. Anyways, fall is a time for change, positive, exciting changes.
