Central AG Adopt A Block Another great Adopt a Block coming up this week!! 10 am in the Fusion Center... this week we'll do a little house cleaning, stick removal and random acts of raking! And we're giving a small gift to each household. And thank God, the weather will be warmer! :-D

Central AG Adopt A Block A lady named Marci on one of our blocks was not home this weekend, but the mail was piled up. Our team was worried they hadn't seen her in a while and so we asked SPD to do a wellness check on her. After the police visit, Marci called here to follow up with us. She said, “I really appreciated your concern. I’ve lived h...ere 9 years and you’re the first ones that worried about me.”
Central AG Adopt A Block Today we're helping a lady named Beverly with some yard work and removing a couch, cleaning carpets for Evelyn, and mowing lawns for Charlie, Mariessa and getting a chance to say hi to all our friends on our blocks. What a great day ahead!

OIL CHANGE MINISTRY
Who: Ministers to Single Moms, Widows, Spouses of deployed soldiers, and their kids
What: People who can help with the cars, women who can sit and talk with the Mom's as they wait, and people to help with child care/ministry for as many as 12 kids at a time.
When: Starts at 9:00, Ends at 12:00
ADOPT A B...LOCK
Who: Reaches out the the blocks behind Central Assembly in the Grant Beach Neighborhood.
What: Need people who like to meet people, and build relationships, people who like to work in the yard or clean, or do light home improvement projects, people who maybe can't walk or work but could pray in the Fusion Center during the outreach, and people who would be willing to take care of kids in the nursery so their parents can participate with peace of mind.
When:Prayer starts at 9:15, Announcements and Assignments at 10:00. Done at 12:15.
