It’s finally here! Our Second Annual Shopping in a Wiener Wonderland is this Saturday, November 7, from 10-4. It will be in the Rio Grande room at the Renaissance Hotel in the Arboretum area of Austin. For those of you who love to use your GPS, that’s 9721 Arboretum Blvd, near the intersection of Highway 183 and Gre...at Hills Trail.
We have gathered 30 of some of Austin’s best local artists and vendors for your shopping pleasure. We have everything from fused glass art pieces to jewelry to doggie duds to blinged out flip flops! For a preview of the vendors you can check out our website at http://www.ctdr.org/vendors.html. We also have a wonderful variety of raffle and silent auction items. I have seen most of them, and I can tell you that I’ll be buying extra raffle tickets and bidding on most of the silent auction items! Your $5 entrance fee includes 2 raffle tickets, and additional tickets are available for $2, or 3 for $5.
CTDR will have their new 2010 calendars available for sale. The calendar features pictures of some of our wonderful adoptable seniors, and sells for only $15.
We also have a special opportunity for our attendees. Michigan Gold Diggers will be there, and if you have any gold or silver that you want to sell, you can bring it to their booth and trade it in for cash on the spot. More money for your shopping!
We hope to see many of you there. This will be a great chance for you to get your holiday shopping done, and even pick up a few items for yourself, all while helping those low riders that we all love so much.Read More

Lois Turner I just got my calendars....out here in California.....love it....sending three to friends back East....who love and have weiners...... My little rescue doxie is suffering from a slipped disc in her neck......won't take the medicine without using a dropper! Any suggestions......

October 21 is the day we picked as Fred's birthday. It's about the time he came into our lives in 2006.He came from a shelter in a nice area. The SPCA of Texas would pick up some dogs from there for their adoption program, and that was to be the only way dogs got out of that shelter alive. ...
