Mettler Athletic Congrats to Holy Cross for winning the 2A Illinois State Championship yesterday at Peoria. Also, St. Matthews place second in the 1A bracket. Congrats to both teams on a great Jr. High season.
Mettler Athletic Josh Ingold (Fisher High, Millikin University) has 11 total tackles heading into last Saturday contest against Albion College. Emily Schiro (Schlarman) had seven kills, 15 assists, and 23 service points in a sweep on North Vermilion High School. Casey Fletcher shot a 44 for Oakwood's Golf Team yesterday at Harrison Country Club in Danville.
Mettler Athletic The Twin City Cross Country meet occurred yesterday in Urbana. Congrats to Neli Crawford, (Centennial 20:40), finishing 6th overall. Also, Corinne Walker finished the three mile race with a time of 22:18.
Mettler Athletic Congrats to the St. Thoma More Volleyball team for winning the Schlarman Volleyball Tournament yesterday evening. Erin Wachtel had 18 assists for the Sabres. Congrats to the Lady Sabres for their accomplishment.

Congrats to Parkland College baseball team as they went underfeated at the NJCAA DII World Series. The Cobras beat Scottsdale CC for the national title. Champaign Centennial Alumni, Collin DeDecker was named to the World Series All Tournament Team.
