Champion the Cure is thrilled to see so many new Fans of the campaign, including: Crystal Laplante, Shelly Umphrey Solomon, Karen Noyes Marquis, Brad Curtis, Denise Long Needham, Brianna Hanington, Pam Hale, Kelli Costello, Robin Earley Lyford, Kelly Bender Childs, and Angela Bowen.

Champion the Cure The campaign goal is definitely obtainable - and thanks to so many of you the gap is being closed. However, success can only be assured if each of you makes a gift right now to the campaign - at whatever you can afford AND by you spreading the word about the need. Thanks!

Champion the Cure thought that the dedication ceremonies went well this week - but hopes that each of you who has not given yet to the campaign knows the following: 1) the campaign runs through the end of December, 2) the campaign is still short of its goal and there is great need for support and 3) giving online, regardless of amount, will be greatly appreciated!

Champion the Cure wants to know if you have made a gift to the campaign? Have you? If not, you have until the end of this month to help us complete the effort. A gift of any size will give you a feeling of ownership in Maine's newest cancer research and treatment center - located in the part of Maine where residents suffer from the... highest cancer incidence in the nation. Please go online now and make a gift in honor or in memory of someone you know who has been touched by cancer.

Champion the Cure was excited this week as events took place in Little City neighborhood in Bangor, in Fairmount Park in Bangor, and in Hampden. Well over 160 people attended these events. It's great to see people rallying around making gifts so that an entire neighborhood or town might have a space in the new cancer center named for ...its residents. Have any of you participated in one of these or other such gatherings?
