In difficult economic times, the number of people seeking assistance from social service agencies increases greatly. The Laguna Village Shopping Center on the southeast corner of Ray and Kyrene roads in Chandler is offering to help by sponsoring a charity car and truck show to benefit the City’s Acts of Kindness (A-OK)... Program. The event is free to the public. The car show will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 5, at the center located at 5865 W. Ray Road. The event will include music and raffles and feature all makes and models of cars and trucks.One hundred percent of the money raised from a $10 car show entry fee will be given to the A-OK Program which helps fund a variety of local human service programs that provide basic needs such as food, shelter, clothing, medical services and transportation to people in need.
