I want to share a local restaurant with everyone that is becoming a legend here in town. The place is Pizzeria Bianco and it's pizza is one many lists of the "Best Pizza in America". Chris Bianco still makes every pizza himself. The place is small and folks wait up to 4 hours for a table since Pizzeria Bianco does not ...take reservations. If you have the time while you are in town, get in line early for a table and enjoy.

Just Roughin' It I've been working on the Summer and Fall schedule for 2010. These trips should be live on the website by the end of the week. Ray

Just Roughin' It I was checking out the Travel section of the Arizona Republic and I found this short article on photo tips. It has some really useful tips about composition which is the one of the most important aspects of taking great photos. Ray

Rob Barlow Thanks for the great 4 day Rim to Rim. It exceeded our expectations, by far. Melinda commented that this was the best vacation she has ever had, and we've had many. Hope to see you again.

Just Roughin' It Crazy day at the Grand Canyon...60 mph wind gusts. The canyon really can blow you away!

Just Roughin' It Just found out WTF means something other than Wisconsin Tourism Federation - OMG!

Nancy Holloway I just talked to Taylor and am getting REALLY excited about our upcoming adventure next week.

Just Roughin' It Our thoughts and prayers go out to friends and family of Andy Richter who passed away unexpectedly yesterday.

Just Roughin' It I'm back from a four day Rim to Rim tour of the canyon. The weather was awesome and the guests we're a real pleasure to be with. (I know it sounds corny but it's true.) We even saw two baby diamondback rattlesnakes at Plateau Point on our last night! I have few days in town before I head down the Hermit Trail with another group of guests. I'm looking forward to getting back down there. Ray

Just Roughin' It I am really disappointed right now. One of our first guests ever called us to do another trip and we had no openings for him and his family. I wish I had something for them. I hate having to tell valued guests to plan ahead for follow up trips but it's becoming necessary. If you aren't able to plan in advance, I will do everything in my power to get a tour for you but I can't make any guarantees. Ray

I'm getting excited, Ken Burns documentary on our national parks airs on Sunday the 27th. Go figure, I scheduled myself to lead a tour from the 26th to th 29th but I should be able to see 4 of the 6 episodes. I wish I had TIVO.

I visited Grand Teton National Park just last week. String Lake is one of my favorite parts in the whole area. We spent the day a long it's beautiful shore. Continued

Just Roughin' It We're in the middle of our crazy season. One trip in the canyon right now, two going out on Thursday, one on Saturday and one on Sunday. Let the good times roll!

Just Roughin' It Debbie and I stayed at La Posada back in July and we fell in love with the place. Designed by noted architect Mary Colter, it's been restored back to the charm it had in the 1930's. Check it out if you are ever in Winslow AZ. Stand on the corner there while you are at it.
