I've discovered this unique blog recently that covers the strange happenings and weird places in Arizona. It's called Arizona Oddities and here's a post that I thought was cool. I knew about UFO sightings over the valley that made national news but I hadn't heard of any legend about a downed flying saucer until I read this.

Just Roughin' It Had a surprise on our day hike in Rogers Canyon in the Superstition Mountains today. Our group was hiking out of the canyon when a family of coatimundi crossed the trail in front of us. We rarely see them so it was a treat 6 (maybe it was 7) of them at one time. They moved so quickly that I couldn't get a photo of them so here is a pic from Wikipedia.

Just Roughin' It
I want to share a local restaurant with everyone that is becoming a legend here in town. The place is Pizzeria Bianco and it's pizza is one many lists of the "Best Pizza in America". Chris Bianco still makes every pizza himself. The place is small and folks wait up to 4 hours for a table since Pizzeria Bianco does not ...take reservations. If you have the time while you are in town, get in line early for a table and enjoy.
