Thanks Leah for the answer.

Now a second question. What do people tend to do for transporting your Chariots on roof racks? Do you just strap it down? Or does anyone know of a solution such as one of the soft Thule bags that will hold the Chariot?

We are looking at buying a chariot for our son with physical disabilities. He is 3 right now. Is there anyone out there still using their chariot with a 5 year old or older? We are trying to figure out how many years we'd get out of the investment.

Hi Bill, I asked the bike specialist at the bike shop where I purchased my Cougar last week. He said the strap on the very BOTTOM of the stroller is to store the wheels when it is in the folded position. Hope that helps!!
P.S. thanks for the offer of your used CX1 Paula, but with the cost of gas and hotel rooms I decided to buy new!! I'm sure you won't have any trouble selling it when you need to!!

Hello everyone, I have a double chariot for sale. It is the cabriolet madel and is only 4 months old. It will come with the bike attatchment, jogging attatchment and the handel and brake. We love it but are now wanting the ski attatchmant (this is not compatable with this model). We are in Cranbrook BC but make regular trips to Calgary. Asking $550 with all attatchments. My Email is acshupe@hotmail.com

I have an odd question. There is a strap on the bottom of the Chariot. I have not been able to find mention of it in the manual. What is it for? I see no need when using the bike, jogging or ski kits.
