Big Brothers Big Sisters of Carolina Youth Development Center Guests at the 6th annual “A Night for the Children” Gala, will enjoy a festive evening of music and dancing with Rivers and Company at McCrady’s Restaurant in downtown Charleston. The evening will also include silent and live auctions featuring one of a kind items. Proceeds from the event will support Carolina Youth De...velopment Center (CYDC); established as the Charleston Orphan House in 1790, CYDC operates ten programs dedicated to treating and housing the victims of child abuse and supporting at-risk youth. Our annual golf event benefits our Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) program. This year's event is hosted by Queen Anne's Revenge and The Bucaneer.
For $200 per person, you can enjoy a day of golf, a dinner reception, an awards ceremony and a live auction all at the exclusive Daniel Island club.
Why support BBBS? They have... proven results.Young people who participate in BBBS are less likely to be arrested or to use drugs, they stay in school longer and earn better grades, and they get along better at home and with their peers.
