me and my dad did a tour from athens to berlin with the bike, me on the back of his bike. but sadly, the tour ended in slovenia because we had an accident but we got inspired by yours and ewans tours! we loved the movies! :) nothing happened to me after flying 20m off the bike but my dad broke his collar bone, just like you did right before the ralley dakar and on the way to the hospital he mentioned you and i smiled because now my dad is watching the ralley dakar movie once again and he was telling me about the part where you broke both your hands...thank god that didnt happen to any of us...
well i hope to watch a new tour-movie from you and/or ewan soon because they are simply amazing!

I feel really inspired by your adventures and hope to carry out some small ones of my own once my leg is out of plaster following a bike accident.
Keep on biking and I look forward to whatever your next adventure is going to be and good look in all of your adventures!

Joshua
Have no idea if you would even respond to this but hope you do.
Any clue on a US release of By Any Means? Look forward to seeing it when I can, love what you do! You are truly an inspiration!

I like this quote! Funny this fellow's name is Ewan!
'There is a traditional Muslim saying that throws jet-lag into a new light: If you travel faster than a camel, you must wait for your soul to catch you up again.'

Harry Minkjan Have a great trip hopefully with Ewan. Can't wait for another DVD.

Jp O Sullivan Man, watchin Long Way Down and Long Way Round is a good way to spend a day, happy days!

Pamela Joy Cox Just missed you in Cairns by a week...good luck on your new adventure, Charley....

Tim Dallow
Just finished watching "By any Means 1" on Nat.Geo. Hmmm!
Long Way Round was of course fantastic and I am sure that it far exceeded it's suspected potential. Long Way Down always had a lot to live up to and in my opinion didn't quite make it. Ewans missus barging in on the event didn't help and I just didn't get the same warm feeling as I did with the first trip. Dakar was excellent!
BAM1 hasn't delivered for me the experience we had before and I personally would like to see more bikes and less tractors, more banter, more of the places you are heading through, more of the characters you meet on your travels and less of the hanger on Russ Malkin. I could see Charley doing something similar to Palin/Connoly in the future and it would be great if it were to be centred around our love for the motorcycle.
All the best Charley on your new venture and hope to see a lot more of you in the future perhaps on mainstream TV as well as the specialist channels.
Tim

Ben Brodrick Best of luck Charley! Can anyone else out there let me know how to find out Charleys itinerary for Australia? Would love to meet him somewhere!

Lyn
