- DJ Elementz started mixing in 1998 on two turntables and a microphone. Troy starting out in Gulfport, MS playing at Orangatangs Nightclub once a week to perfect his art. In 2000, Elementz seized the opportunity to move to Charlotte, NC and started his journey as a new dj in a new town.
Now known to Charlotte nightlife as "DJ ELEMENTZ," Troy Nguyen is a professional DJ who uses his skills and talent on the turntables to express his love for music.
Elementz has made many nightclub performances and appearances in Charlotte and surrounding cities along the Southeast. Venues like Time Lounge, Heat, Crush, Fandango, HOM, Liquid Lounge, Eden, The Pub at Gateway, TILT, Pravda, Paradise, Prevue, Visions and the list continues on. Throughout the years DJ Elementz became one of the premier djs in the city. Playing along side live acts and DJ's such as Rob Reeves, Aaron Sigmon, Fuzz, DJ X, Supa Skip, Dj AM, Icey, Baby Anne, Plummet, Rick Solo, Rick West, Trashy, Agent K, Keith Mckenzie and many more.
Dj Elementz has also worked with a lot of corporate businesses, hosting and performing events that caters to what the company is looking for. Birthdays, weddings, pool parties, proms, reunions, club events, mixtapes, grand openings these are just some of the events that Troy has done before. As you can see DJ Elementz seems to be on everyones booking list and is taking over every dancefloor one club at a time.
