Well, I expect that other moral community leaders such as the Sherriff in Lincoln Co. NC and Gov. Sanford of SC feel the same way ..... I guess things like that are only a problem if your are appointed .... lapses in judgment (or outright lies) don't count if you were elected ....

Q-Notes Jeff Olson, community blogger: "Gay vs. Straight dating" http://blog.q-notes.com/jeffolson/entry/gay-vs-straight-dating/

Source: blog.q-notes.com
From what I have been told, there is little difference in dating from either aspect of straight or gay couples. It doesn’t matter if you are gay or straight, when you are in a dating relationship, each is composed with similar experiences and challenges. ...

I agree with Weaver. We need to express ourselves and not be afraid of the people that are going to watch us. Grant it, we need to be careful where we are that we know is flat out dangerous to show affection, but in a place such as Charlotte, it doesn't matter, and if someone has a problem with it here, just ignore them cause they are ignorant.

I want to agree fully with Weaver and Dill...but considering my boyfriend and I got jumped in Chapel Hill on Franklin St the other week simply because someone just happened to hear us call the other "boyfriend"...we weren't holding hands...making out...skipping gayly down the street. Just walking. Just calling the other one boyfriend.....

...... Read Morejust makes it hard to feel comfortable expressing yourself. I really have no desire to spend another week and a half with a swollen face.

But still...f*** that idiot. I'm still going to call the bf my boyfriend while out. No one can take that away from me. (And trust me...that idiot didn't go home unscathed either)
