On Saturday, November 14th, four great volunteers took 10 great dogs to Walnut Creek Park to participate in the 5k Dog Jog through the lovely trails there. The dogs had a blast and were very well behaved according to all reports! The top three SPCA dog finishers are below. ...

Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA If you want a motorcycle for Christmas, buy a raffle ticket to benefit the SPCA! Jim Price Automotive is raffling off a 2006 Venex 250 Motorcyle. Only 400 tickets sold at $10 each. The drawing will be held on Dec. 23rd. So come on by the SPCA between 12 and 6pm and buy a ticket. Help the animals and maybe help yourself!

Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA Along with Voices for Animals, the SPCA hosted its first Feral Cat Clinic of the season. Thanks to volunteer veterinarians and lots of otehr volunteer help, we spayed or neutered 87 feral cats in one day! This greatly reduces the number of unwanted kittens and improves the quality of life for these cats immensely.
