Charlottesville Running Company How to winterize your shoes. Use slip on grips like yaktraxs, or insert short screws on the bottom of the shoes, sticking out at least 1/4 inch. Make sure the screws don't poke through the sole :) and remember.. Trails are much safer now, even if slower.
