The University of Virginia Art Museum has launched a new blog, Building a Living Legacy: Jefferson's Academical Village, in support of the special exhibition Thomas Jefferson's Academical Village: The Creation of an Architectural Masterpiece, 1817-1824 which will open at the Museum September 4 and continue through January 4.
Like the exhibition, the blog hopes to expand our understanding of the Academical Village. It features three sections;
The Detectives,
The Builders, and
The Legacy; each with an interactive component that allows readers to share thoughts and information and to upload images or documents.
