Looking for the perfect new addition to your family? Come to the MAiZe this Saturday and adopt a black dog from the Humane Society at a discounted price. The discounted adoption fee is $50 for "black dog day" at Rock City’s Enchanted MAiZE. This includes spay/neuter, micro chip, up-to-date vaccinations, free vet health... check at a participating Hamilton County vet office, a month of pre-paid shelter insurance and a lifetime of love and gratitude! On “black dog day,” the Humane Society is also are trying to get the word out about "black dog syndrome,” which is the term used about shelters being full of medium and large black dogs. Often just because of their color, they aren’t picked or noticed as much as other, “cuter” dogs.
