Technology Access Television (TATV) is a new media production organization dedicated to educating and informing the world's netizens about technology solutions and opportunities. TATV was founded in 1999 as a producer of television programming. TATV produces original content focused on a broad range of technology topic...s with an emphasis on applied technology solutions in education, business, government, community development and non-profit organizations. Through our video taped studio interviews with technology innovators Chicago television viewers meet the people behind the technology. TATV has produced over 200, 30-min. segments of high quality, broadcast standard video content. Each month we produce informative shows on how people and organizations are putting technology to good use to make a difference in people’s lives and enhance the effectiveness of their endeavors. Our goal is to maximize the awareness of technology options and opportunities for all communities. As new avenues of content distribution are made available by broadband deployments TATV can reach a wider audience through various modes of rich media streaming. We envision the full availability of dynamic anywhere, anytime access to educational video content and we intend to be at the forefront of producing and distributing our content via this new paradigm. TATV is also engaged in teaching our youth how to produce and tell their own stories of success with and through technology adoption. We are working with community based organizations and local schools to demonstrate, educate and evangelize the new mobile and broadband content production and distribution technologies which we believe will propel the next generation of world builders.Read More
