What began as a simple act of compassion towards a preschooler in need has transformed into a new resource for Chicago families, thanks to the help of Cathedral Shelter’s Second Chance Thrift and others.

Cathedral Shelter of Chicago Thanks to all who made phone calls, answered phones, made pledges, and donated during our phone-a-thon. The phone-a-thon is our largest fundraiser of the year and your support is making a world of difference for so many people.

Cathedral Shelter of Chicago The weekend was amazing...especially Friday night's alumni celebration. Food, laughs, music, true fellowship! So many men and women in recovery expressing gratitude for another chance at life and humbly attributing all their triumphs to God's grace and mercy. WOW! Did I forget to mention WOW!?!
