Words @ Play is an after school program that happens in 10 citywide parks. Its a collaboration between the Chicago Park District and the Chicago Humanities Festival. Young people ages 8 to 13 spend time with professional poets in parks every week for an hour and a half and learn about the joys of poetry and the power of expression.
