In today’s global-internet saturated culture, it’s difficult to stand out from the rest. Deon Butler is a success story in his “iEMPIRE,” taking a radio show from the nineties and bringing it to the 21st century. Kaeno / Kaenow (Deon Butler) began his musical journey at the age of 13, and began melding vinyl beats not long after. After graduating from high school, he attended Florida International University, where he first started his career as a radio DJ. His first show aired in 1999 called The Vanishing Point, encompassing the EDM genres popular at the time: Progressive, Trance, House and Tribal.
The radio show soared to new heights making it one of the most listened to college radio stations in Miami, eventually winning the Miami New Times best Radio Station in 2007. At the time, the electronic music scene in Miami was growing exponentially, rivaling the typical Pop/Hip-Hop that ruled Saturday Night parties on Miami Beach. Kaeno & Alexander were at the top of Miami’s playlist, and were performing under the moniker “System Shock.”
After finishing his residency at Zanzibar, Kaeno graced the decks at some of South Florida’s most legendary clubs and festival. The Vanishing Point went online with iTUNES three years ago, creating an enhanced Podcast for download. Recently, TVP reached 50,000 downloads, making Kaeno’s show one of the most listened to and downloaded EDM shows in the U.S.A and across the world. Over the past ten years, Kaeno has released countless tracks and mixes. You can experience Kaeno’s profound genius through his website.

RE: DJ Zita Zie
Started in classical music at age 7 playing violin, but never in her dreams she thought that one day she would be DJ-ing. It all started when Zita's friends invited her to attend the Winter Music Conference in Miami. Thats where she met Dj D:FOLT and encouraged her to get into electronica. Learnt her basics on vinyl at MIW from DJ BreakdownB then continued spinning on cdj's next. A try turned into a passion. And the rest is history. Major musical influences are Armin van Buuren, Blank and Jones, however minimal plays an important part in her style. Other influences are coming from Burning Man's Opulent Temple Djs.
Zita's recent performances included Crobar Chicago, Vision, Climax, SpyBar Chicago, Enclave, Ontourage, Sound-Bar, UN, Good Bar, Victor Hotel, The Kinetic Playground.
More about Zita's background:
Born and raised in Hungary. Moved to the USA when she was 14. In Hungary she attended a music specialty elementary school where playing two instruments was a requirement. Her classical training was later focused only on violin once she attended high school. Local string quartetts, symphonies, theater, Ameropa International Music Festival were just some of the activities she was doing.
To her parents encouragement, when she was not attending music rehearsals or lessons, she attended North Park University then later University of Illinois at Chicago to have a back up to the music profession.
Being a huge fan of dance music, it was only matter of time to try the other (non-classical) side of music. She often says, that whoever thinks that working the turntables is easy, first try it. It takes just as much amount of practice to do a good set, as to be able to perform a good Bach Sonata. And then Bach didnt even have to worry about making people dance.

ART of SOUND is about more than just a concert or club night. Transcending the typical night out and moving beyond the traditional music setting, Art of Sound aims to foster an artistic energy that brings together numerous art forms surrounding a unique mix of bands and djs creating a seamless soundscape and a participatory environment for everyone that comes through the door.
Each week we will have a rotation of both local and national acts, live painting, live projections, magic shows, ticket and bottle service giveaways and vending from local shops and craftsmen.
It's Real Music and Elevate Chicago are very proud to be hosting the NEW Art of Sound @ Vision Nightclub in their Dome Room which features state of the art sound, 360 degree club lighting, a great dance floor and 3 floors of chill lounges overlooking the stage, with something for everyone to enjoy!
